Located in Seattle, Washington and Rainier, Oregon each shipyard features a team of highly skilled engineers. The Foss Seattle shipyard serves the Navy, Washington State Ferries, the petroleum and timber industries, fishing fleets, high-speed passenger vessels, and private yachts for dry-dock, maintenance and vessel repair. Vessel Construction & Repair Vessel construction at the Rainer, Oregon shipyard combines state-of-the art technology with modern shipbuilding technologies and talent. The Seattle shipyard-with its three floating dry docks and a terminal specializes in vessel repairs and modifications. The dry docks, which can handle up to 2,000-tons, provide platforms for underbody maintenance, hull repairs, shaft repairs, and modifications. We have the only ABS certified shaft repair facility on the U.S. West Coast.
